Bisulphite amplicon sequencing of Helicoverpa armigera protein on ecdysone puffs (PEP) gene to study DNA methylation dynamics across developmental stages

DNA will be extracted from head segments of larva, pupa and adult organisms previously grown under laboratory conditions. DNA will then be sodium bisulphite converted and used to amplify multiple regions across the PEP gene. Illumina adapters will then be added and amplicons sequenced using the MiSeq 100 (600 cycles). Analysis will be carried out using the BIQAnalyzer HT tool.
